PocketFold started with a simple problem: Apple announced a $1,999 folding iPhone, and the one thing no spec sheet, keynote, or review could tell us was how it would feel in a pocket. So we printed one.
Every PocketFold is 3D-printed to order in the USA to the published dimensions of the iPhone Duo: 84.1 × 117.8 × 11.3 mm closed and 164.6 × 117.8 × 5.2 mm open. It folds, it opens flat, and it is honest about what it is: a true-size model, not a phone. It's a plain slab with no logos, it is lighter than the real thing, and it does not turn on.
We're two people and a printer. Orders ship within 2–4 business days, US shipping is free, and if it isn't useful you can return it unused within 30 days. When the real foldable lands on October 23, we'll measure one and publish exactly how close we got.
